We answer within a working day. If something is stopping you sending a quotation, say so in the first line and it goes to the front.

What to send

Any of these turns a slow exchange into a fast one:

• The quotation number, and which version.
• A screenshot — including the part of the screen you think is irrelevant.
• What you expected the number to be, and what it was. A price question is almost always answerable from the formula trace, and knowing the expected figure is what makes it answerable.

Things worth checking first

A line priced at zero, or would not price

The quotation tells you why rather than failing silently: a missing formula mapping for that product and feature, an inactive formula, a sub-feature that does not match, or a material slot with nothing in it. The message names which. Setup Status, under the product catalogue, lists every mapping that is missing before a quotation runs into it.

The price did not change when I changed the grade

Grade reaches the price through the material in each slot. If a formula's slot has a specific material pinned to it as a default, that material is used whatever grade is chosen. Leaving the slot open lets the grade decide, which is what you almost always want for sheet and tube.

A rate change has not shown up

Rates apply to quotations priced after the change. An existing quotation keeps the numbers it was built with, on purpose — a document you have already sent should not silently change. Make a revision to reprice at the new rates.

A customer says the shared link does not work

Check that sharing is still enabled on that quotation. A link that has been regenerated stops the old one working, which is the point of regenerating it.

Changes to your setup

New products, new formulas, changes to how something is priced: send it to us. Formula work is done with you rather than left to you, and it is not billed as a separate module.
